Faye Boyette Cook Crawford


POPE– Faye Boyette Cooke Crawford, 66, died Saturday, July 28, 2012, at her residence.

Services were held Monday at Wells Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Longtown Cemetery in Crenshaw. Robert Rawson officiated. Wells Funeral Home had charge.

Crawford, born Oct. 14, 1945, in Pope, to the late Arvis B. and Martha Elizabeth Stacey Boyette, was a retired hairdresser and member of the Batesville Church of Christ.

Survivors include: two sons, Michael Cook of Batesville and Randy Cook of Pope; one sister, Patricia McNeer of Harmontown; two brothers, Billy Boyette of Batesville and Lavon Boyette of Pleasant Grove and six grandchildren.


Lucille Mills Perry

OXFORD– Lucille Mills Perry, 79, died Monday, July 23, 2012, at Graceland Care Center in Oxford.

Perry’s family will hold a memorial service at a later date.

She was born to Lawrence and Velma McMinn Mills on August 26, 1932, and was a retired nurse.

Survivors include: her husband, Robert Anthony Perry; one son, Maurice Perry of Sardis; four sisters, Darnell Mills Whitten of Charleston, Bettie Mills Pittman, Linda Mills Hargett and Dorothy Mills Booth, all of Batesville; three brothers, Paul Mills of Courtland, Billy Mills of Pope and Donald Mills of Charleston.
