Junior Auxiliary of Batesville will hold its Fourth Annual 3-Person Charity Golf Scramble on Saturday, June 30 at the Panola Country Club in Batesville.
Registration for the scramble will begin at 12 p.m., with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. All proceeds go toward Junior Auxiliary service projects, which benefit the well being of Panola County children.
“We are excited about the golf tournament and the opportunities it provides for Junior Auxiliary,” said Katie Azar, JA President. “It’s a fun way for the community to give back, which is why it’s one our biggest fundraisers.”
The day will be filled with contests, such as “Hit From the Red Tee” at hole seven, and “Cash Rings” at holes 11, 14, and 16. Refreshments will be available on and off the green throughout the day. Participants are then invited to a post-tournament “Happy Hour” gathering on the club patio, complete with hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and cash prizes for tournament winners.
Tax-deductible sponsorship and participation opportunities are still available. Participants are invited to sponsor a hole, contest, or golf team. Everyone is invited to participate.
T-shirts for the event will be sold for $18 and can be purchased through Junior Auxiliary members. They are available in Ice Grey.
The Junior Auxiliary of Batesville depends solely upon gracious donations. Monies donated fund service projects that focus on the health and well being of children, and building a better community, a spokesman said.
