A total of 56 youth softball and baseball teams from all over North Mississippi will converge at J.P Hudson Park this weekend for the 2012 Dizzy Dean Bash.
Tournament play is set to begin today at 5:30 and will conclude with championship games Sunday afternoon. Batesville All-Stars from six through ten-year-old baseball and  softball squads will be set to defend their home turf.
J.P Hudson will also be host site of the 6U & 9U baseball  along with the 6U & 12U softball North State tournament Thursday through Sunday. Trussell Park will host the 14U & 16U Softball tournament.
