Early registration for Racing For Paws 5K at The Batesville SpringFest is now available.  Sign-up on-line or by mail for only $20 before the rate increases by $5 in April.

The race will be run Saturday, May 19, at 8 a.m. Most importantly, it benefits The Panola County Humane Society and efforts to provide care to abandoned and lost animals, and low-cost spay and neuter services to qualifying families. There will be ChronoTrak D-Tag timing, age-group medals, and awards to the first-place female and male runners. Every pre-registered runner/walker receives a goodie-bag and T-Shirt.

Sardis Heflin House announces the 5K Run/Walk will be held in conjunction with AprilFest on Saturday, April 7, beginning at 8 a.m.

The trail goes through Downtown Sardis from the Methodist Church, passing by The Panola Playhouse, TriBecca Alli Cafe, Sardis Steak & Seafood, and the historic Sardis Schoolhouse.

Early Packet Pick-Up begins Friday, April 6, from  3 – 7 p.m.

Race Day Pick-Up begins 6:30 a.m. at The Heflin House.

The race features the USATF certified course, D-Tag timing, age group medals, and trophies to the first-place female and male runners. Every pre-registered runner/walker receives a goodie bag and Heflin House 5K T-shirt.

After the 5K, the Mississippi Delta Street Rodders Open Car Show will be held.

Register at RacesOnLine.com with a $20 entry fee by March 26 and $25 March 27 through raceday.
