Lady Tigers knock off DC

By Angie Ledbetter

Bad weather came through Clinton Friday night causing Traceway Park to close and their tournament to be moved to Clinton High School on Saturday. It turned out to be a great day for the South Panola Lady Tigers varsity fastpitch softball team (5-1) as they won both games.

“We played really well,” said head coach Ashleigh Hicks. “The girls really stepped it up. Nicole Fullilove is pitching very well and the defense is playing behind her and scoring runs. We want to keep getting better and better each time we cross the lines to play.”
