It was fantastic.

I have been watching these squads year-by-year, but this has to be one of the best performances I have ever seen them do. I know there were falls which were probably nerves, but that is not what I am referring to. I am speaking of the degree of difficulty these girls displayed.

Squads of the past have gone down to Orlando and returned with top 10 rankings with less difficult shows. With this show, these girls catapulted themselves to the top of the impressive meter.

There is no way this squad got this far without working as a team as they are throwing each other up in air, performing acrobatic stunts while on others’ shoulders and flipping all across the mat. If I actually knew the name of some of their stunts and moves, I would name them.

Whatever the case may be, I believe this is the squad to bring home the gold. They left last night for Orlando. Watch their results and cheer them on from home or your mobile devices this weekend on www.varsity.com. Live streaming will be available for $9.99 through varsity.com.

These girls need our help. Believe me, there is no way for them to do what they do as individuals. They are a team and we are part of their team to encourage them on to victory.

It would be nice to have a second national championship team in the house!!!
