Jessie Pegues (right) explains to Panola sheriff’s deputy Mark Tidwell how he rounded the curve at Old Panola and Viney Creek roads Thursday morning and saw a white four-door car that had left the road and flipped on an embankment. Pegues said he climbed through the back seat of the car and removed driver James Fortner, who was still in his seatbelt. Fortner, of Jackson, was unharmed. Pegues further explained that he flipped his truck on Old Panola Road last may and was pulled from the truck by
