Reyes-Juarez obit

BATESVILLE – Armando Reyes-Juarez, 20, died Sunday, August 28, 2011, at Tri-Lakes Medical Center from injuries received in an auto accident.
Services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Wells Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the veteran’s section of Forrest Memorial Park with full military honors. Rev. Jay Anderson will officiate. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Wells Funeral Home.
Juarez, born May 16, 1991, in Greenville, to Karen Dowdle Jenkins of Courtland and Jose Luis Reyes-Juarez of Pearl, was a Baptist. He entlisted in the U.S. Army National Guard in 2008 and since then has served a tour in Iraq from 2009 to 2010 with U.S. Army 155th Brigade in Tupelo and was scheduled for return for another one year tour in January of 2012. While state side, he was stationed with Co. E 2/198th CAB of the National Guard in Clarksdale. In the time he was not with the National Guard he worked with his grandfather as a farmer.
Survivors along with his parents include: stepfather Brad Jenkins; one sister, Misty Jenkins of Courtland; one brother, Miguel Reyes-Juarez of Courtland; his grandparents, James and Nancy Dowdle of Courtland, Glen and Lisa Ladner of Picayune, Charles Ray and Joyce Jenkins of Greenville; and a great-grandmother Betty Bell of Grenada.
