ESPN has announced the August 27 South Panola at Hoover game will be televised.

This will be the first ever meeting between the current national champion South Panola Tigers, ranked No. 12 preseason, and the nationally acclaimed Hoover Buccaneers. The game is set for a 2:30 p.m. CST kickoff on ESPN.

This will be South Panola’s second appearance on ESPN as the network televised the SP vs. Apopka game in 2009.

The internet version of that game will also stream on ihigh.com which is available through The Panolian website, www.panolian.com. The link is on the left in the South Panola Football Live Stream box.

Call-in Show

Fifth year Tiger head coach Lance Pogue will hold his first call-in show of the season on Thursday, August 17 on WBLE from 6:30 to 7 p.m. Fans may call 563-2457 and ask questions.
