Two former South Panola baseball standouts will continue their careers after signing scholarships to four-year Universities.

Joseph Blair signed with NAIA member Mid-Continent University of Mayfield, Ken. while ex-high school teammate Corbin Moore inked with Gulf South Conference member University of Arkansas- Monticello.

Blair has spent the last two seasons behind the plate at Northwest Community College while Moore, an outfielder, attended Mississippi Delta Community College in Morehead.

Moore hit .370 last spring with 10 doubles, one triple and 18 RBI’s  after hitting .385 as a freshmen for the Trojans.

Blair meanwhile hit .263 with one home run and six RBI’s in 24 games for the Rangers who finished the season with a 31-21 record and a Region 23 tournament appearance.
