Camp Fish

JACKSON – Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks has partnered with the Mississippi Bass Federation to host “Camp Fish” on July 18-21 at the Private John Allen National Fish Hatchery in Tupelo.

The camp’s goal is to provide opportunities, skills, and resources to introduce Mississippi youth to the sport of fishing.

Students will also have hands-on opportunities to learn about different sampling gear that MDWFP biologists use to sample fish populations. Students will also receive training to become certified in boating safety.

The camp is free and open to kids ages 11 thru 15.
