South Panola defensive tackle Isaac Gross is one of five Mississippi high school  football players ranked among the ESPNU Top 150 recruits for the Class of 2012 that was released last week.

Morton defensive tackle Quay Evans (6-foot-2, 312 pounds) leads the Mississippi group, ranked as the No. 33 recruit nationally.

The other three Mississippians are Aberdeen defensive end Channing Ward (No. 94); Petal athlete Anthony Alford (No. 99) and Lafayette County athlete Jeremy Liggins (No. 123).

Gross, ranked 36, has verbally committed to Ole Miss and is the only one of the five to have made a non-binding commitment.
