Both cosmetic and engineering improvements in the I-55/Highway 6 intersection were subjects of discussion during Wednesday’s visit by Northern District Highway Commissioner Mike Tagert (right). Tagert met with (from left) Alderman Stan Harrison, Mayor Jerry Autrey, and Roy Lee Cole, supervisor of the city’s joint program with the Mississippi Department of Transportation to remove litter from city streets and highways. The city officials urged Tagert to help the city improve lighting for the clo
