A public hearing is set for today at 6 p.m. in Sardis to collect opinion and feedback about plans for redistricting in Panola County.

A second public hearing is set for 6 p.m. Thursday in Batesville.

Both hearings will be held at the county courthouses.

The Panola County Board of Supervisors is holding the hearings before it sends redistricting plans to the U.S. Department of Justice.
