Santa set to appear in Batesville parade

Entries are still welcome for the annual Batesville Lions Club Christmas Parade scheduled for Tuesday, December 7.

Parade chairman Jerry Lightsey said the parade will feature the bands of South Panola schools and a variety of floats created for the parade’s theme, “Joy to the World.”

Santa Claus will make the first of two annual Batesville visits as the parade’s guest of honor, Lightsey said.
