The Boys and Girls Club staff has announced that an omission was made on the admission for the Deshea Townsend camp next Saturday.
Each child is required to bring a canned good to support the local Food Pantry. The Memphis Food Bank will be on hand to accept the canned goods to benefit the local unit.
Townsend, a Batesville native and Pittsburgh Steeler cornerback, is hosting his 11th annual Pay It Forward Football Camp. The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. A health fair will be held at the Batesville Middle School during the same time.
From 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. a boot camp for adults over 18 will be conducted in conjunction with the camp for children 6 to 18 years old.
Registration forms are available now at the Boys and Girls Club, 630 Highway 51 South, Batesville and at The Panolian, 363 Highway 51 North, Batesville.
Both camps require preregistration and have to be turned in by Monday, May 10.
