Start with everyone- man, woman and child-in the U.S.A. writing a letter each to the president and Congress. That would be 320 million stamps sold. Do not e-mail. Use stamps.

Stop direct deposit to checking account for all government checks. Extra billion more in stamps.

Remember, carriers are eyes and ears for old people and everyone, and can call police or sheriff if you need medical help.

(Cutting out Saturday service means an elderly person in trouble could go all weekend without help.)

Finally, this is the clincher. Wouldn’t you still like to write our men and women in the service and mail cookies and love letters and packages on Saturday?

Besides, listen good, what if your men and women in the service just fight five days a week? Think about it.

Congress can take care of this. Keep six-day a week postal delivery.
