Lady Tigers shut out Senatobia 12-0

By Angie Ledbetter
The South Panola Lady Tigers played near perfect against the Senatobia Lady Warriors Tuesday night with a 12-0 shutout.

“It was a tremendous performance from the mound to the plate to the defense and I’m very pleased,” said Lady Tiger head coach Ashleigh Hicks. “We played extremely well from the big things to the small things. We were talking and running the bases really well. We were very aggressive on the bases but we had that one little bump but got that taken care of.”

Hicks said this win sets the team up well going into the final district game that was played last night in Columbus.

The game was called after the fourth inning due to the mercy rule.
