Patricia Tidwell Horne

BATESVILLE— Patricia Tidwell Horne, 70, died Saturday, March 27, 2010, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.

Services will be held today at 1 p.m. at Sardis Lake Baptist Church. Burial will be in Clear Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until service time at the church. Wells Funeral Home has charge.

Horne, born May 13, 1939, to the late Cecil E. Hawkins and Mary Cokella Hawkins Tidwell, was a member of Sardis Lake Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Benny Horne.

Survivors include: two sons, Stacey Horne of Houston, Texas and Kevin Horne of Batesville; one brother, Phil Tidwell of Perkinston; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Ella Ruth Blair Mizener

COMO— Ella Ruth Blair Mizener, 67, died Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at her residence.

Services were Saturday at Wells Funeral Home. Burial was in Forrest Memorial Park. Rev Chris Cooksy officiated. Wells Funeral Home had charge.

Mizener, born Sept. 27, 1942, in Charleston, S.C., to the late Walter James Kisiah and Doris Mullis Kisiah Fortner, was a pharmacy sales associate for Wal-Mart in Batesville and a member of Eureka United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Leo Blair.

Survivors include: two daughters, Mary Mac Walton of Sardis and Sherry Bullock of Gulf Shores, Ala.; one sister, Norma Lambert of Como; one brother, Kenny Kisiah of Batesville; four half-sisters and one half-brother; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
