Linda Elizabeth Kelsay Conn

SENATOBIA— Linda Elizabeth Kelsay Conn, 52, died Saturday, December 12, 2009, at her residence. She was the sister of Jane Clark of Batesville.

Services were Tuesday at Senatobia First Baptist Church. Burial was in Senatobia Memorial Gardens. Ray Nowell Funeral Home had charge.

Conn, born Oct. 16, 1957, to the late Elijah Thomas Kelsay Jr. and Bessie Juanita Gaston Kelsay, was a sales representative.

Survivors along with her sister include: her husband Randy Conn; two sons, John Wesley Conn of Morrisville, N.C. and Daniel Kelsay Conn of Senatobia; two sisters, Nita Townsend of Brandon and Carole Milam of Sevierville, Tenn.; one brother, John Kelsay of Senatobia and one grandchild, Adalynn Kairos Conn of Morrisville, N.C.

BETT— Christine “Tina” Steward, 86, died Sunday, December 13, 2009. She was the mother of Dr. Edward Steward of Batesville.

Services were Wednesday at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch. Burial was in Tyro Cemetery in Tyro.

Steward was a member of  Bett Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Johnny Morris Steward.

Survivors along with her son include: two daughters,  Bonnie Algee and Shelly Parker; three brothers, Lonnie “Nat” Smith, Gene Smith and Joe Smith and three grandchildren.
