Lovelace has expanded his Oxford-based practice to Batesville which includes his surgery clinic consults on Fridays between 9 a.m. to noon and preferred “block time” in the Tri-Lakes Surgery Center.

“I have been working with Batesville’s local physicians for over 22 years and am pleased to be working with the new Tri-Lakes in the expansion of their surgery center.  It’s like coming home,” Lovelace said.

“We believe the locally owned Tri-Lakes Medical Center is moving in the right direction under the leadership of Dr. Havens, Dr. Haire and Dr. Linder,” he said.

Dr. Lovelace, with over 22 years experience, is a native of Batesville and is the son of the late Dr. John R. Lovelace.

Dr. Lovelace attended medical school at the University of Mississippi Medical School, General Surgery Residency at the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences and completed Vascular fellowship at University of Tennessee.

Dr. Alden Kirk will provide weekly surgery clinic at Tri-Lakes Medical Center on Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to noon.

“We are pleased to expand our practice and be a part of the new Tri-Lakes Medical Center,” said Kirk. “As a convenience to our patients, we intend to perform minor surgeries at Tri-Lakes Medical Center to keep patients close to home.

“I want to be a part of the growth of the surgery team for years to come,” he added.

Dr. Kirk attended medical school and completed his residency at the University of Mississippi Medical School and Center.

“Having Surgery Consultants with both Dr. Lovelace and Dr. Kirk joining the surgery staff will give patients new choices for surgeons at Tri-Lakes Medical Center,” said Tri-Lakes partner Dr. Lee Linder.

“Both Dr. Lovelace and Dr. Kirk have excellent training and terrific reputations in our community which will elevate the quality of our surgery team at Tri-Lakes Medical Center,” said Linder.
