State Championships televised

High school state championships to be televised on public television

It’s football championship time again.  This Friday night they finish the last round of playoffs, and next week play the MHSAA/FedEx State Football Championships, presented by BankPlus. 

This year’s championships will be once again broadcast on Mississippi Public Television. 

Fans will not be allowed to bring video equipment, air horns, or artificial noisemakers into the stadium.

MHSAA/FedEx State Football Championships are presented by BankPlus at Mississippi Memorial Stadium in Jackson.

Tickets are $12 at the gate; $10 pre-game at the Stadium or the MHSAA Office.

Game schedule:

Class 1A–Thursday, December 3 at 7 P.M.

Class 2A–Friday, December 4 at 3 P.M.

Class 6A–Friday, December 4 at 7 P.M.

Class 3A–Saturday, December 5 at 11 A.M.

Class 4A–Saturday, December 5 at 3 P.M.

Class 5A–Saturday, December 5 at 7 P.M.
