Letters to the editor
These beautiful days know that Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming forth.
Thank God for all our blessings.
But it’s good to check the State of this Union in this great country.
In 2000 we were in good standing with most all nations, our national debt dwindling; people had jobs, America was blooming.
We didn’t fear of failure big debt and no jobs.
But what have we got after the leadership years of Bush and Cheney?
Failures, no jobs, homes lost, big debt, Communist Chinese bankers who are billionaires.
Think!

Today we give thanks for another year,
Thanks for keeping us in your care.
For our homes and the necessities of life,
We say thank you, too.
Through all of the things we had to endure,
Thanks for bringing us through.
Thanks for friends and family
on this Thanksgiving Day,
Thanks for blessing us in a special way.
Thanks for the warmth the season brings,
Thanks for everything.
Happy Thanksgiving Day!
