Batesville’s July Fourth celebration at the Civic Center on Saturday afternoon will offer entertainment for all ages, with a Cowboy Kiddie Carnival, inflatables, and a rock climbing wall. Monster Truck rides will be available and concession stands will be open. Activities begin at 5 p.m.

Free concerts will begin with the Lighthorse Harry Band performing at 6:30 p.m. followed by Electric Rodeo at 8 p.m. The free fireworks show will begin at 10 p.m., with a display synchronized to music, according to Mayor Jerry Autrey.

Participants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, but no pets or coolers.

Sponsors of the event are the City of Batesville, The Panolian, Covenant Bank, First Security Bank, Mississippi Distributors and High Tech Special Effects.
