Region 3-3A football honored some North Panola football players recently.
Named to the first team offense are quarterback Quinn Ellis and wide receiver Ricky Hunt.
Receiving second team offense honors are offensive linemen David Hill and Marico Tolliver, running back Vernon Lewis and fullback Rodregus Salter.
Named to first team defense are defensive lineman Tyrus Mack and linebacker Cortez Hibbler.
Second team defense honorees include linebackers Curtis Arnold and Jemetric McNeil and defensive back DArius Loveberry.
Honorable Mention Cougars are offensive lineman Marco Lloyd; defensive lineman Ken Lyons; defensive backs Ira Phillips, Kevin Taylor and Teon Arnold; and wide receiver Kiwanis Bobo.
Coaches in the region voted on the players, but coaches are not allowed to nominate their own players.
North Panola finished the football season with a 7-4 record in the second round of playoffs.
North Panola will see some new district teams next year as during realignment North Panola moved from 3A to 4A.
