Lula Nancy Mathes

MILLINGTON, Tenn.–Lula Nancy Mathes, 91, formerly of Sardis, died Monday, November 24, 2008.

Services were Wednesday at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church. Rev. Kenneth White officiated. Burial was in Peach Creek Cemetery. Ray-Nowell Funeral Home had charge.

Mathes, born Sept. 9, 1917, to the late George Mathes and Leta Harris Mathes, was a member of Pleasant Grove Methodist Church. She was a civilian employed at Millington Naval Air Force Station.

Survivors include: her sister-in-law, Grace Mathes; one niece, Nancy Gray and one nephew, Tom Mathes Jr.
