Francis “Frankie” McMullen

SARDIS– Francis “Frankie” McMullen, 65, died Friday, July 26, 2008, at Baptist Memorial-North Mississippi.

Memorial services are Saturday at 11 a.m. at Wells Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Steve Cannon will officiate. Wells Funeral Home has charge.

McMullen, born July 23, 1943, to the late Otis Griffin Goodson and Lera Beaird Goodson Davis, was a member of First United Pentecostal Church and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by one son, William “Bo” Riley.

Survivors include: her husband, Wayne A. McMullen of Sardis; one daughter, Graceann Brady Darby of Sardis; two step-sons, Clint McMullen of Sardis and Jason McMullen who is serving in the U.S. Army and is stationed in Iraq; five sisters, Barbara Wilson of Horn Lake, Virginia Goldstein of Toledo, Ohio, Linda Brown of Batesville, Mary Jo Foster of Sardis and Debra Keel of Kentucky; two brothers, Jimmy Newton of Counce, Tenn. and Billy J. Davis of Batesville; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Tommy Durin Wells

SENATOBIA– Tommy Durin Wells, 55, a metal worker, died Saturday, July 26, 2008, at his residence in Senatobia.

There will be no services at this time as he will be cremated. Wells Funeral Home has charge.

Wells was born in Pontotoc, Dec. 31, 1952. His parents are Ethel W. Manues of Senatobia and the late Osbine Rhimes.

Survivors along with his mother include: his wife, Lillie Fulton Wells of Senatobia; one step-daughter, Kimberly Lyon of St. Charles, Mo.; two step-sons, Scott Fulton of Marianna, Ark. and Michael Byers of West Memphis, Ark.; one sister, Shelia Lantrip of Batesville; one brother, Ted Wells of Robinsonville and five grandchildren.
