The Panolian incorrectly reported in its print edition Tuesday that a Courtland man was killed in an automobile accident.

Colin S. Kemp, 20, was not killed in a one-vehicle accident as reported by The Panolian.

An MHP spokesman said Monday that Manuel David Carter, 32, was hit in DeSoto County on I-69 nears its interchange with Hwy. 713.

The Miss. Highway Patrol is investigating the one-vehicle accident.

Carter was walking westbound when he was struck, said MHP Sgt. Leslie White. The accident occurred about 1:45 Sunday morning.
