Spay/Neuter program thankful for help

Mississippi Spay and Neuter and the Panola County Humane Society hosted a very successful low cost spay/neuter clinic June 26-28 on the Little Fix Rig. Clients from nine North Mississippi counties brought 82 pets to be fixed and vaccinated. Thankfully those pets will no longer be producing unwanted litters and they are healthier, happy pets now that they are fixed!

Special thanks to Dr. Bob Guy, Dr. Rena Greer, Dr. Clint Sturdivant, Lori Seybert, Juanita Boutin, Nancy Dabney, Conway Dabney, Wyatt Dabney, Ricki Harrel, Steven Blevin, Natascha Techen, Mari Boutin, Lele Gillespie, Jenny Ball and Conny Parham. Without these fine people we could not have prevented thousands of unwanted puppies and kittens from ending up in our over crowded animal shelter.

We believe that affordable spay/neuter services are in high demand in our community and that when people can afford to have their pets fixed they will. We are planning another clinic in October to help pets belonging to low-income pet owners. If you are interested in sponsoring a pet to be fixed or in helping us fundraise for the next clinic please call 662-801-0753.
