Deadline comes Mon. for ‘Best of’ contest

Turn in your ballots, Panola County.

Voting for The Panolian’s Best of Panola County contest will conclude Monday at 5 p.m.

The Best of Contest allows readers of The Panolian and the AdVantage to select their favorites for the 180 categories.

Readers are encouraged to fill out the ballot and cast them at one of five official collection boxes located at Kroger, Piggly Wiggly, Save-A-Lot, The Panolian and in Sardis, Chandler’s Fresh Market.

As an incentive to vote, there will be a drawing for a $100 shopping spree. Voters are reminded to be sure to supply their name and address.

Ballots without this information will not be counted.

Only an original ballot will be accepted. Photocopies will be destroyed and not counted.

No mail-in ballots are being accepted.

The official ballot appeared in the Tuesday, June 24 edition of The Panolian and on Wednesday, June 25, in The Panolian AdVantage.

After the votes are tallied, winners will be announced in the Friday, July 18 edition of The Panolian.
