A story in the May 20 Panolian announcing a step show in Batesville July 19 incorrectly reported that recording artist Kanye West would present a concert in conjunction with the event. Johnny Jones, one of the planners of the event, said that due to a scheduling conflict West will not appear at the step show.

Love correction

Kitarya A. Love, 150 MLK No. 7-B, Batesville, was listed with an incorrect charge of embezzlement in the May 13 edition of The Panolian.

She was not charged with embezzlement. She was charged with driving while license suspended, expired tag and no proof of insurance. The Panolian regrets this error.
