Letter to the editor

I would like to say thanks to the TVEPA workers for their hard work over this past weekend.

I was without electricity from 10 p.m. Saturday night until 5 p.m. Sunday. My electricity being out was nothing compared to the damages done in the surrounding areas! After riding around Atkinson, Dummyline, Nash, Waldrup, and Jaudon Roads and seeing all the trees uprooted and on houses, I knew that my family and I were truly blessed for only having the inconvenience of no electricity.

Thank you again TVEPA   for going above and beyond your jobs and having worked through Mother’s Day for my community.
