The first run came in the top of the first inning. Haylei Plummer doubled to left field and came home on a Casi Brooks single RBI. The game remained 1-0 until the top of the seventh.

Lady Tiger head coach Ashleigh Hicks activated reserve senior players Bethany Moore and Kayla Roden to have a bat in their final game. Both girls delivered.

Moore hit a line drive to right center field for a single. Roden followed with another line drive to right field. Kiihnl walked to load the bases. On a single RBI by Hillari Plummer, Moore scored the second run.

Complete game information will be in Friday’s edition of The Panolian.

In the Tuesday May 5 publication, a special State Championship edition will be published.
