The success of the South Panola baseball and softball teams have yielded some post season honors for the coaches and players.

Baseball head coach Patrick Robey has been chosen as one of the coaches of the North Class 4A/5A All-Star team, along with John Ellison of Houston. The baseball game is June 7 at 1 p.m. at Trustmark Park in Pearl.

Fastpitch softball head coach Ashleigh Hicks has been chosen to coach the girls North All-star team. The All-Star fastpitch game will be played Saturday, June 21 at Newton County High School in Decatur. The slowpitch game will be Friday, June 20 at Newton County High.

Chosen to play in the fastpitch game from South Panola are senior pitcher Whitney Kiihnl and catcher Casi Brooks. Chosen to play in the slowpitch game are third baseman Haylei Plummer and center fielder Haley Hood.
