COMO—Roosevelt Bradley, 81, died Friday, February 29, 2008.

Services were Wednesday at Mt. Moriah Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Como. Burial was in Mt. Moriah C.M.E. Church Cemetery in Como. Rodgers Funeral Home had charge.

Bradley was an equipment operator.

Survivors include: his wife, Ethel B. Bradley; four daughters, Chestine Bradley of Southaven, Rose M. Henderson of Memphis, Julia Flowers and Willa M. Baxter, both of Chicago; four sons, Bobby Bradley of Gulfport, James Bradley of Senatobia, Leon Bradley of Como and Wayne Bradley of Memphis; two sisters, Beatrice Little of Memphis and Lula Abram of Skokie, Ill.; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

BATESVILLE—Fannie Mae Pollard, 61, died Saturday, March 1, 2008, at Tri-Lakes Medical Center.

Services are today at 1 p.m. at Macedonia M.B. Church. Rev. Lannie Leland Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery. Visitation will be today noon – 1 p.m. at Macedonia M.B. Church. Cooley’s Mortuary has charge.

Pollard, born Sept. 13, 1946, in Catron, Mo., to the late Earnest Roston and the late Mary Iren Mason, was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Evia M.B. Church.

Survivors include: her husband, Rev. Arthur Pollard of Batesville; three daughters, Kendra Butts of Como, Shabravia Thadison and Tira Pittman, both of Batesville; two sons, Whally Pollard of Batesville and Justin Pollard of Oxford; two sisters, Beulah Marie Leland of Batesville and Ella Lois Hughes of Chicago; one brother, Willie Roston of Oxford; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

POPE—Denny Rutledge, 72, died Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at his residence.

Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation is today 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Woodhaven Funeral Home has charge.

He was retired from Rutledge Crane Rental.

Survivors include: his wife, Sara Rutledge; two sons, Denny “Morris” Rutledge Jr. of Bartlett, Tenn. and Calvin “Mitch” Rutledge of Blue Mountain; two sisters, Ruth Frasier of Marion, Ill. and Dorothy Reeves of LaPonte, Ind.; one brother, William Jack Rutledge Jr. of Munford, Tenn. and three grandchildren.
