Mississippi defeated Alabama 26-7 in the annual Alabama/Mississippi All-Star game held in Mobile, Ala. Monday night.

South Panola standout Darius “Tig” Barksdale had 73 yards on 15 carries.

The victory was Mississippi’s seventh in 21 and second in the last 10 meetings.
Also playing in the game from South Panola were offensive lineman Quin Sanford and defensive end Terrance Pope.
