Competitive cheerleaders from South Panola competed in Athletic Championships in Tunica last weekend.

The junior high squad won a very tough large junior high division.

The high school squad placed first in the super varsity division. South Panola also were named grand champion for the event by getting the highest score of all school squads in attendance.

South Panola competitive cheerleaders are currently selling tickets for their annual Boston butt sale. Tickets may be purchased from any cheerleader or coach.

The cost is $20. Boston butts will be available for delivery on Saturday, December 29 in the old Big Star parking lot. All proceeds will help to fund their trip to UCA National Cheerleading Championships in Orlando, Fla.

The squad will be competing at nationals for their sixth consecutive year.
