SP announces early ticket sales, game date change

With the 1-5A divisional championship on the line Friday night when Starkville visits South Panola, Dr. Gearl Loden announces tickets will be sold early for the game. Fans can buy tickets early at the high school from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday for $5 general admission.

The tickets booth will open Friday night at 6 p.m.

Tiger head coach Lance Pogue is asking for a big turnout from the Tiger fans.

“We are playing for the divisional championship and we want to get all our people here,” Pogue said. “It’s a big game. We need to have a big crowd, be enthusiastic and all.”

Also, Pogue announced the November 9 game against DeSoto Central has been changed to Thursday, November 8 at 6:30 p.m.

Though there have been rumors that the game will televised that is not true. No specific reason was given for the change, but Pogue did say it was a “school decision.”
