Early ticket sales

By Myra Bean

To help battle the long ticket lines expected at tonight’s game, South Panola High School will sell general admission tickets at the office from 8 a.m. to noon today. Tiger Drive will be closed to traffic after that time for the students to have a field day.

Tickets are $5.

Tickets will go on sale at the ticket booth at 6 p.m.

High School principal Dr. Gearl Loden said Olive Branch sold 1,000 tickets in one day and came back for 500 more.

“I urge the fans to get their tickets early because when they are gone, they’re gone,” Loden said.

Also, tonight’s game is the USA Today’s high school game of the week. The game can be heard as a live audio broadcast at preps.usatoday.com beginning at 7 p.m central.

The game can be heard locally on WBLE 100.5 FM with Judge George Carlson, Steve Wingert, Kenny Hopper,  Tim Christ, and Cam Coker.
