The issue of September 21, 2007 mistakenly reported that the resignation of North Panola School District instructor Keith Barnes was not accepted because he was under contract.

Mr. Barnes was not under contract. His resignation was accepted.

In the September 25 issue, the dates of the Construction Career Fair were listed incorrectly. The event for area high school students is today and tomorrow.

In the September 28 edition, Melondy Johnson was incorrectly identified as the wife of Pastor William Johnson. She is his daughter.

The Panolian regrets the errors. When errors occur, they will be promptly corrected upon being called to the attention of the editor.
