Collegiate players report

University and college players reported for fall practice the end of last week.

Jeramie Griffin reported as one of the 105 players on the University of Alabama roster last Thursday. Griffin will be wearing the No. 34.

At Ole Miss, the freshmen reported Thursday with the exception of a few.

“A.J. Jackson and David Rue will not qualify,” Orgeron said. “Johnny Brown and Chris Strong will not report today (Thursday). They have not been provisionally admitted. I expect a decision on those guys Friday and I think it will be favorable.”

No updates were issued on Strong (53) over the weekend or early Monday afternoon.

Others reporting at Ole Miss were upperclassmen No. 13 Jamarca Sanford, No. 98 Peria Jerry and No. 77 John Jerry.

At Mississippi State No. 3 Derek Pegues and No. 6 Demario Bobo reported.

Reporting at Arkansas State is No. 55 Brandon Ciaramitaro, who transferred for the spring semester.

Playing at Arkansas Tech from Batesville are No. 2 Jonathan Webster and No. 99 Hollis Hoskins.

Central Arkansas has No. 9 Charles Twilley, No. 98 Lendrell Barksdale and No. 99 Kendrell Barksdale.
