Ellis medals at State Games of MS

In the State Games of Mississippi, Batesville’s Ken Ellis brought home three medals, two gold, one silver in his age group, 60 to 64 years old.

Ellis competed Saturday in the 110 meter hurdles and placed first with a time of 23.02 seconds.

In the 300 meter hurdles, he finished first in a time of 1:09.88 minutes. In the discus he finished second behind Mike McIntyre of Wesson with a throw of 93’3”.
