Both American Legion games won by 1

Red Sox 7 – Royals 6
In the open game Thursday night, the Red Sox defeated the Royals 7-6.
Taylor Rotenberry got the win for the Red Sox. Matt Brown took the loss for the Royals.
The Red Sox had 10 hits with Colby Runnells, Jake Rogers and Rotenberry all going two for three. For the Royals Lee Self went three for three.
Yankees 10 – A’s 9
In the night cap, the Yankees came from behind and got the win over the A’s by the score of 10-9.
Ryan Maxwell came in to relieve Colby Gammill who started the game.
Hitting for the Yankees were Sean King and Maxwell, each going two for three.
The A’s hitters were Mitch Helms, Joey Gabbard and D.G. Arnold, all going two for three.
All teams have three games left June 19, 21 and 26 with two games rained out that will be made up.
On Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. the Yankees and the Red Sox will meet in the first game.
At 7:30 p.m. it will be the A’s and the Royals.
On Thursday at 5:30 p.m. the Red Sox and the A’s will take center stage, followed by the Yankees and the Royals at 7:30 p.m.
