During North Panola High School’s Homecoming Coronation last Wednesday, Joseph Taylor was crowned Homecoming King and LaTasha Hill was crowned Homecoming Queen.
Auditions set at Playhouse for ‘It’s A Wonderful Life’

The Panola Playhouse is preparing for auditions for its upcoming Christmas production, a stage adaptation of Frank Capra’s classic "It’s A Wonderful Life."
Auditions are scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 7, from 10 a.m. to noon and Monday, Oct. 9 from 6-7 p.m. at the Panola Playhouse located at 212 Main St., Sardis.
A press release from the Playhouse states a need for nine males and three females ages 12 and up and one female role for ages 12 and under.
Five to 10 male and female extras may be used. Casting for these will be for ages 12 and under.
Cast members do not have to be able to sing or dance to take part in this show.
Play organizers are also looking for volunteer musicians. Set designers and other crew members are also needed. The dates for performances have not been set.
