Sheriff’s Report    
All information is taken directly from the open records of the Panola County Sheriff’s Department. An arrest does not mean a conviction. All individuals are innocent until proven guilty. Names will not be left out of the records upon request. If a name appears in the arrest logs, it will appear in The Panolian.

August 8
Elliot Hunt, 113 Lamb St., Crowder, was arrested and charged with disregarding the child support law. The case will be heard in Chancery Court.

Jason A. White, 100 Hardy Rd., Courtland, was arrested and charged with no driver’s license and disregarding a traffice device. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

August 9
Martin N. Garcia, 114 Holly Cove, Batesville, was arrested and charged with DUI (second) and no driver’s license. The case will be heard in Batesville Municipal Court.

Charles Edward Rudd, 3946 Eureka Rd., Batesville, was arrested and charged with uttering forgery. The case will be heard in Circuit Court.

Lisa S. Barksdale, 165 Henry Dr., Courtland, was arrested and charged with shoplifting. The case will be heard in Batesville Municipal Court.

Sylvester G. Kuykendall, 4051 Eureka Rd., Batesville, was arrested and charged with uttering forgery. The case will be heard in Circuit/Justice Court.

Kendall Lamont Diggs, 4051 Eureka Rd., Batesville, was arrested and charged with uttering forgery. The case will be heard in Circuit/Justice Court.

Jeffrey Dwight Webster, 304 Sherwood Dr., Batesville, was arrested and charged with forgery and uttering forgery. The case will be heard in Circuit Court.

Frank Booker, Box 111, Sledge, was arrested and charged with DUI, no driver’s license, no proof of insurance and expired tag. The case will be heard in Crenshaw Municipal Court.

Willie E. Taylor, 357 Greg Taylor Rd., Courtland, was arrested and charged with the sale of a controlled substance. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

Larry Ford, unknown address, Batesville, is being held for investigation.

Eric L. Towns, 223 Terry St., Crenshaw, was arrested and charged with burglary of a commercial building. The case will be heard in Circuit Court.

Latasha R. Lockett, 327 Center St., Sardis, was arrested and charged with domestic violence – simple assault. The case will be heard in Sardis Municipal Court.

Taimearea L. Lockett, 327 Center St., Sardis, was arrested and charged with domestic violence – simple assault. The case will be heard in Sardis Municipal Court.

August 10
Rebecca J. Blackburn, 107 Martin Luther King, Panola Apartment 6B, Batesville, was arrested and charged with simple assault. The case will be heard in Batesville Municipal Court.

Tyler Andrew Lott, 143 Faith Dr., Batesville, was being held for investigation. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

Christopher A. Ellis, 113 Clinton St., Batesville, was arrested and charged with no tag, reckless driving and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. The case will be heard in Batesville Municipal Court.

Forrest Wilbanks, 415 Woodland Rd., Batesville, was being held for investigation. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

Terran T. Shegog, 51 Audrey Rd., Courtland, was arrested and charged with DUI (second). The case will be heard in Justice Court.

Delsis Jones, Humpry St., Crowder, was arrested and charged with disturbing the peace. The case will be heard in Crowder Municipal Court.

James Hollingsworth, 219 Scoggins Rd., Pope, was arrested and charged with resisting arrest and threatening phone calls. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

August 11
Sheri Estell Allgood, 219 Scoggins Rd., Pope, was arrested and charged with resisting arrest and threatening phone calls. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

Jackie L. Yount, Hwy. 51 Ramsey Trailor Park Lot 8, Sardis, was arrested and charged with disturbance of the peace. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

Teresa Kay Sands, 8 Ramsey Circle, Sardis, was arrested and charged with disturbance of the peace. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

August 12
Corey L. Campbell, 4253 B Barnacre, Sardis, was arrested and charged with contempt. The case will be heard in Batesville Municipal Court.

Ricky C. Nelson, 127 Old Panola Rd., Como, was arrested and charged with bond surrender and violation of probation.

Robert Lee Luster, 878 Belmont Rd., Sardis, was arrested and charged with DUI, driving while license suspended and improper consent. The case will be heard in Crenshaw Municipal Court.

Charles Roden, 517 McCain Rd., Sardis, was arrested and charged with disturbance of a family. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

Jimmie Pegues, 1790 Gravel Springs Rd., Senatobia, was arrested and charged with DUI. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

Micheal Turner, 802 Thornton Rd., Water Valley, was arrested and charged with shoplifting. The case will be heard in Batesville Municipal Court.

August 13
James J. Lee, West St., Batesville, was arrested and charged with possession of paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and possession of controlled substance. The case will be heard in Justice/Circuit Court.

Mary I. Brassell, Box 953 Milam Rd., Batesville, was arrested and charged with shoplifting. The case will be heard in Batesville Municipal Court.

Paula M. Fields, 84 F Azzie Lee Rd., Courtland, was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended, no proof of insurance and expired tag. The case will be heard in Batesville Municipal Court.

Larry Ford, no known address, Batesville, was arrested and charged with two counts of petit larceny. The case will be heard in Batesville Municipal Court.

Kelly Dacus Venable, 205 N. Church St., Charleston, was arrested and charged with public drunk. The case will be heard in Pope Municipal Court.

August 14
Thomas Edward Dunavent, 107 Rosling CV, Batesville, was arrested and charged with domestic violence. The case will be heard in Batesville Municipal Court.

Melvin C. Black, 5257 Lucious Taylor Rd., Como, was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and no proof of insurance. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

Luther Danner, 527 Sanford, Memphis, Tenn., was arrested and charged with running a stop sign, no tag and suspended driver’s license – implied consent. The case will be heard in Como Municipal Court.

William D. Mister, 133 Hoskins Rd., Batesville, was arrested and charged with embezzlement. The case will be heard in Batesville Municipal Court.

Ricardo L. Wallace, 201 Lee Jennings Rd., Sardis, was arrested and charged with no driver’s license, no seat belt and DUI refusal. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

Barbara D. Wright, 704 Gilmore Apt. B, Senatobia, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and false information to a police officer. The case will be heard in Sardis Municipal Court.

August 15
Marcus D. McKinney, 5143 Barnacre Rd., Sardis, was arrested and charged with careless driving, speeding and failure to yield to blue lights.
