Court Report
The following action was taken during the November 22 session of Batesville Municipal Court.

Mitchell Ray Daniel –  shoplifting first. Defendant entered a guilty plea with fine due in full. Defendant was ordered to stay out of all Wal-Mart stores and their affiliates store.

Dewayne Elmo Harris –  DUI third (felony), driving without headlights, no driver’s license and no proof of liability insurance. Defendant posted bond prior to court, case transferred to Circuit Court.

Sereginald Lenard Smith –  grand larceny. Upon his written signature, the defendant signed a waiver of counsel and waiver of preliminary hearing, case transferred to Circuit Court.

Kimberly Denise Taylor –  old/existing fines –  BBI system. Defendant entered a guilty plea, with fine due in full with 60 days suspended jail sentence to serve pending payment in full.

Nicholas Reid Walton –  stalking –  felony. Defendant posted bond prior to court, case transferred to Circuit Court.

Christopher Daniel Wright –  simple assault first. Defendant entered a plea of Nolo Contendre, plea accepted and entered with fine paid in full.

Calvert Demond Smith –  malicious mischief. Trial held with sworn testimony heard, sufficient evidence presented to prove the charge was correct, defendant found guilty of the charge. Defendant ordered to pay restitution of $450 and fine in full with 90 days suspended jail sentence pending fine and restitution paid as ordered and no further contact with Jonathan Parker and good behavior for two years.

Edward W. Donahou, 122 Krotzer Rd., Sardis, was arrested and charged with DUI. The case will be heard in Sardis Municipal Court.

Charles M. Gernier, 620 Floyds Island, Sardis, was arrested and charged with disturbance of a family. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

December 29
Latasha R. Cole, 104 C. Bradford St., Batesville, was arrested and charged with simple assault. The case will be heard in Batesville Municipal Court.

Candice L. Collins, 304 Jones St. Box 529, Jonestown, was arrested and charged with forgery. The case will be heard in Batesville Municipal Court.

Leon Wayne Robertson, 445 Sanders Rd., Sardis, was arrested and charged with DUI, driving while license suspended and open container. The case will be heard in Courtland Municipal Court.

December 30
Randy Bernard Lloyd, 434 Taylor St., Como, was arrested and charged with contempt and grand larceny. The case will be heard in Como Municipal Court.

Kemp Blackmon, 226 Noble St., Batesville, was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident, no driver’s license and no insurance. The case will be heard in Batesville Municipal Court.

December 31
Anthony Gross, 413 Jones St., Crenshaw, was arrested and charged with inciting a riot. The case will be heard in Crenshaw Municipal Court.

Christopher Howard, 809 Mills St., Crenshaw, was arrested and charged with inciting a riot. The case will be heard in Crenshaw Municipal Court.

Reggie Bernardo Kelly, P.O. Box 323, Crenshaw, was arrested and charged with inciting a riot. The case will be heard in Crenshaw Municipal Court.

Gregory DeWayne Burt, 907 William Stokes St., Crenshaw, was arrested and charged with inciting a riot. The case will be heard in Crenshaw Municipal Court.

James Cecil Booker, 708 West St., Crenshaw, was arrested and charged with inciting a riot. The case will be heard in Crenshaw Municipal Court.

Ketrick Darell Buck, 181 South Ave., Crenshaw, was arrested and charged with inciting a riot. The case will be heard in Crenshaw Municipal Court.

Corderio Lark, P.O. Box 636, Crenshaw, was arrested and charged with inciting a riot. The case will be heard in Crenshaw Municipal Court.

Anthony Burt, 907 Williams Stokes St., Crenshaw, was arrested and charged with inciting a riot. The case will be heard in Crenshaw Municipal Court.

Chris McClothian, 210 Williams Stokes St., Crenshaw, was arrested and charged with inciting a riot. The case will be heard in Crenshaw Municipal Court.

Rockie Terell White, 104 Nelson St., Crenshaw, was arrested and charged with inciting a riot. The case will be heard in Batesville Municipal Court.
