Safety Program
    
The Mississippi SAFE KIDS Campaign is visiting Batesville to certify the Batesville Fire Department on how to properly install child car seats. The campaign’s main purpose is to ensure the safety of children.

Batesville Fire Department personnel must pass a 32-hour course and a detailed test in order to become technicians.

The Mississippi SAFE KIDS and the Batesville Fire Department will be doing free car seat checks at Wal-Mart today from 1p.m. until 3 p.m.
