Upchurch, Bessie Mixon Bessie Mixon Upchurch, 75, of Panola County, died Monday, Dec. 15, 2003.
Services were Thursday at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley. Seven Oaks Funeral Home had charge.
Upchurch, born Nov. 24, 1928, to the late Jesse J. Mixon and the late Violet B. Magee Mixon, was a member of the Air Force and a veteran of the Korean Conflict. She was a Presbyterian.
Survivors include four brothers, Hugh Mixon of Pope, Ted Mixon of Crowder, Shelby Mixon of Independence and Charles Mixon of Suchas, Ga.; two sisters, Bonnie Wolfe of Olive Branch and Rita Caldwell of Cooksville, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her husband Shelby Dean Upchurch, one sister Jane Ford and one brother Jimmy Mixon.
