Inlow, Betty Jane Beard
Betty Jane Beard Inlow, 73, of Memphis, died Monday, June 30, 2003, at Heartland of Memphis of cancer.
Services were Wednesday at Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was at Rose Hill Cemetery in Sardis. Rev. Robert Hickey officiated. Moore Funeral Home had charge.
Inlow, born March 2, 1930, to the late Otis Lee Beard and Sarah Houston Beard, was a retired bookeeper for Union Planters Bank and a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include one sister Sara Beard Carter of Sardis; two brothers, Otis E. "Gene" Beard of Memphis and Robert H. "Bobby" Beard of Hernando; four nieces, two nephews and a host of great nieces and nephews.
Inman, Barney Earl Jr.
Barney Earl Inman Jr., 73, of Hernando, formerly of Sardis, died Friday, Feb. 19, 2003, at Baptist DeSoto Hospital in Southaven.
Services were at Moore Funeral Chapel in Sardis. Rev. Jerry Sanford and Rev. Steven Sims officiated. Burial followed in Rose Hill Cemetery in Sardis. Moore Funeral Home in Sardis was in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Elrod Inman of Hernando; two step-daughters, Cathy Still of Sardis and Pam Johnson of Batesville; four sons, Cliff Inman of Sardis, Tim Inman of Courtland, Peter Inman of Hernando, Chip Inman of Hernando and one step-son, Freddie Massey of Sardis; and two sisters, Mattie Dean Gray of Sardis and Dott Britt of Sardis; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Ivy, Clarence L. "Buddy"
Clarence Ivy, 67, died Monday evening at his home of heart failure.
Services were Thursday at Victory Baptist Church in Batesville followed by interment at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville. Rev. E.K. Gordon, Rev. Richard Mills, and Rev. Bobby Watson officiated. Wells Funeral Home had charge.
Born March 17, 1935, in Cleveland to Clarence Oscar and Eula Virginia Cliffton Ivy, he was a retired service manager for Bluff City Buick of Memphis and Rebel Motors of Oxford, and was a member of Victory Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Peggy Shipp Ivy of Batesville; two daughters, Ann Ivy Ashley of Lake City, Fla. and Teresa Morel of Cordova, Tenn.; two step-daughters, Joan Butler of Oxford and Susan Obert of Crestview, Fla.; three stepsons, Douglas Gooch of Naples, Fla., James E. Gooch, Jr. of Houston Texas, and John Robert Gooch of Ontario, Canada and 14 grandchildren.
