NAP to reduce losses for producers
The Noninsured Crop Disaster Assistance Program (NAP) is designed to reduce losses due to natural disaster by a catastrophic loss for crops not covered by Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC).

Farm producers are encouraged to contact their local Farm Service Agency (FSA) office to make an application to participate in NAP at least 30 days before planting.

The final date to file an application to participate and pay the service fee for the 2002 NAP is 30 days after the publication of the Federal Regulations covering 2002 NAP.

Producers will be notified as soon as the Federal Regulations are published. Producers are encouraged to apply now and not wait until the final date.
